I'm new and thinking about starting anew story, but am a little scared that no one will read it or even post about it, or even maybe steal it. So before I begin my story I need some reassurance. So if you want to hear some new stories, I need 3post before I can start.

personaly, i dont very often read the stories. this isnt an insult to anyone, i just dont read it very often. and, well iv thoght about writing a story too, and yes i was a little nervous it would be weird, or people wouldnt like it, but everyone here is pretty nice, and ill read ur story, so u should go for it

Here is my story hope you like it, it's my very first.

Chapter 1:

The Prophecy Reborn

My eyes were just opening, waiting to see the world around me. Blinking continually, I started to make out at a blurry shape look right at me and around me. Looking around I saw three other furry things that looked similar to me. Looking back at the giant thing I asked, "Who are you, what are you?" She answered with a smile, "I am your mother, and I’m a Tiger, just as all of you are." Looking at each one of us. "If you’re my mom then who are they?" I asked. Grunting with a smile, she answered, "I’m not only your mother, and these are your brothers and sisters. Now, there is one last thing I need to do before I go hunting." We all started at her eagerly. Then she spoke up, "First,"looking at my sister. "Your name shall be; Alva, meaning Fair Complected." Next, looking at my two brothers, first the bigger of the two, "Your name shall be; Abhay or fearless." Then looking at my smallest brother, "and your name shall be; Kaden or fighter."

Lastly, looking at me her smiling face turn to a frown. "You, I will have a hard time naming."

 

Sorry that it ended like that, but I would like to leave you hanging on suspense. Tell me what you think!

   "Why?" I asked.

"Why, what?" she asked as if coming out of a deep thought. "Why, will I be hard to name? I'm not that different...am I?" I stated. There was a long silence before she reluctantly anwsered, "Well, it is hard to name the FIRST white Tiger, to be born in this region. But, I shall name you ... Kita, a name you should bear well." As soon as she finished my brothers and sister all stared at me with wide eyes. Finally, I said, "I can't be the first, there have to have been more than one, I mean really I can't have been?" Her eyes suddenly turned sad and she turned her head away. Without ever anwsering my question. While nuzziling us, she told us to stay here, then left without another word. Leaving me to ponder my thoughts.

A different feeling, for all.

Staring at the way our mother left, the silence was broken by, do I have to say it my little sister, Alva, "Well I don’t see anything that different about you, except that you’re the ugliest one here," she said in a sneering, jealousy kind of way. As my brothers heads are turning back and forth as fast as I possible could. I replied without losing my cool, "I’m not any different than any of you, only my color, stripes, and size differ from every other tiger." Alva and me stared at each other for what seemed minutes. My brother, Kaden, breaking the silence said, "Why not a battle to see who is the best of us, well female wise." "Fine." We both said, still looking at each other, unblinking. "Alright when I say "three" you will both battle." There was a long pause then, "One, Two...Three!"
