There are quite a few posts regarding this Endangered Species Breeding Center, and to be honest, I'm not sure, I asked the same question when I first started to play this, and never really got to the bottom of it, even after purposely using it!

It says in the game that it helps ES to reproduce quicker etc., but I've never noticed. If you have happy animals living in correct biomes with space, stimulation and food/water, then ES seem to reproduce quickly on their own.

The only obvious down side to this Center is, once you have unlocked it (which is worth doing anyway because the scenario is a good one to win), it costs $10,000 - phew - a lot of money for the birth of 1 ES baby more than you might manage without it.... so, very expensive for what it is supposed to do!

I am on the last challenge for the breeding center but its hard.I don't have much money. i have to make a five star zoo with endangered animals to unlock it.

Yeah, I know I tried and it is almost impossible to make a five star zoo with just high risk and endangered animals.

I hope it is really worth it  

Next time I have the computer to myself without people sleeping in the living room, I plan on trying it out by building two seperate free-form zoos, putting the same number of the same species in each, same toys, food, shelters and space and adding the breeding center to one zoo and not to the other to see if there's any difference.


I'll post when and if I figure it out =]
