well im am going to take a wild guess and say its male. i had the same problem with my male PF. there is really not much you can do about him. male PF will do that i think its a territorial thing but you can isolate him away from where the guests are, or, like i did, made a mating area, changed the biome and such to fit the animal, and only use males there so when you want a new peacock for free you can just use the males to mate and then set him free. problem solved.
