Every year, I raise a praying mantis as a pet. They make awsome pets, and are easy to take care of. Once you know how. So anyhow, I got my mantis today, but can't think what to name it. I will put the best names into a hat and draw a winner. Good luck.

I sometimes keep praying mantids as pets too. They're cute, in an insect sort of way. I like how they eat their prey with their front legs like a cheeseburger...
Anyway, I can't think of any names exept 'Preyer' right now. It's hard to tell the gender while they're young, but when they're adults the males are thinner and have wings.

Well, praying mantis in Italian is Mantide Religiosa. You could base it off those.

Scythe could be a cool name, or, in Italian, Falce. Falce sounds cool.

Or, you could name it Tycoon, because of these forums. Tycoon would be neat, I think.

So, my boy entries are (from my favorite to least):
-Tycoon
-Falce
-Scythe

And girls:
-Tycoon (could work for both)
-Danza (dance in Italian)

So, yeah, those are pretty much my entries.
