I feel worse than before. It hurts to lay on my back or to sit on the back of my butt. Actually, it hurts to move. Ian and the doc say it's because your bones have to restructure themselves. I hate to say it, but for a while I've been thinking painful my rear end. Ian said it's painless. Yeah right. I don't know if I should trust him. I'm starting to wonder if this process is as easy (and successful) as he said it was. Am I afraid? Kind of. I don't fear death; I fear being left in a middle state, somewhere between human and animal. I don't want to be a monster.

It's wierd. I have odd bulges on my back and rear end. They feel so heavy, I want to walk on all fours. Ian is strutting around like a peacock and saying that his girlfriend's gonna have wings. Just Perfect. It's like this whole thing is for his amusement. If he doesn't knock it off soon, I'll tell him that I'm going through the rest of it alone. I'm not as afraid any more as I am angry at him. Now he's bugging the doc about "when she'll get fur". The doc just hands me the next elixir and grins. It creeps me out that he won't answer a straight question any more.

it's an opinion. but I agree, we aren't ugly. we just aren't as beautiful as some animals... birds, for instance. but I also have to say- I'm glad I'm not a fish! ugly muggums, they are!

Some fish are ugly, but not sharks! Sharks are so pretty, especially dogfish.
