Sorry about that, here's more of that chapter:
When she entered the clearing, Shadowfire stopped, puzzeled. There was no sign of Flameclaw. Suddenly something hit Shadowfire from behind, and she landed on the grass with Flameclaw on top of her.
"Always be aware of your surroundings," he hissed. "You never know when an enemy may be lurking." Flameclaw leaped away from Shadowfire and stood looking at her in the center of the clearing as she stood to face him.
"And you are my enemy." said Shadowfire.
"Yes and no." came the cryptic response. Flameclaw twitched his tail. "What is your name? I never asked. I am Flameclaw, of course."
"Shadowfire."
Flameclaw tilted his head. "Your name fits you."
There was silence as Flameclaw stepped forward. "Shadowfire, I spent my life training myself to master and enhance my powers." Flameclaw spoke quietly and earnestly. "You were able to resist me and probably could have won our fight when you didn't even know you had your powers. You have an amazing gift and it is my job to teach you how to use it. But first, I must show you your destiny. Come." Flameclaw beconed with his tail and dissapeared through a clump of ferns. Her tail twitching uneasily, Shadowfire followed.
Suddenly she cried out as the ground dropped from beneath her feet and she found herself sliding down a tunnel. She emerged in a cave, with a dark, forboding pool of black water in front of her. Flameclaw stood on the other side of the pool.
"Lie next to the water and touch your nose to it." he ordered. Trembling, Shadowfire obeyed. As soon as she closed her eyes cold began to seep into her body, chilling her from the inside out. Startled, Shadowfire opened her eyes.
Instead of the cave she was in before, she was now in a huge, dark cavern. In front of her the darkness seemed to grow, coalescing into a firece, midnight-black cat.
"Who are you!?" asked Shadowfire.
"I am the enemy of enemies, the counqueror of conquerors. And I will show you your destiny." the voice that came out of the cat sounded as though many cats were speaking. "and yes, you are dreaming, but this is also real."
"Why-why am I here?" asked Shadowfire.
"A Star-cat is coming. They are the enemy of all you will stand for. They must not be allowed to complete their mission. Go to the place where the moon shines on stone like a flame. There will be one who stands in your way, who helps the Star-cat. You must win that fight. You are the Night-cat, the savior of our world. You must not fail."
Then the cavern faded to black once more.
