                                                                Chapter 3

As me and Wolfie walked through the forest, he didn't say a word. Neither did I. But there was something about him that made me wonder. What was he doing so far away from his pack? I mean, we've been walking for hours! But as soon as I was about to say something, we had reached a clearing in the forest. Inside the clearing was wolves of all colors. But none were black like Wolfie was. And what amazed me was, everyone stepped back in respect for him. They had all made a path so that me and him could walk through. I walked up quickly next to him and whispered, "Hey, why are all of these wolves staring at us funny?" He looked at me with his emerald eyes and said, "Because I am the alpha's son. Therefore, putting me in line for future leader. And you are my guest, so they'll treat you the way they treat me." "Wow, so how long have you been gone?" "Long enough." He answered. "But why?" "I'll explain it all to you later. But for now, just stay quiet and follow my lead." I nodded my head and followed him alongside the path of wolves until we had reached a large brown wolf. By his side was a smaller silver wolf. "Hello mother. Hello father. I would like you to meet my friend Roxy. She is new to our forest." Wolfie said, in a formal voice that made me want to swat him with my paw. The big brown wolf looked at me and said, "Where did you come from Roxy?" I stared into his yellow eyes nervously and said, "The forest far across the other side of the village." "You traveled that far young she-wolf?" "Yes." "Very well. You can stay as long as you are in my son Wolfie's sight at all times. Outsiders cannot be trusted." "Tracer! Don't be so rude!" the silver wolf snapped. "You know as well as I do that outsiders can be dangerous Delilah." Tracer said in a stern voice. Delilah looked at me and then back at Tracer. "She doesn't look threatening to me. She's still so young. She won't be a threat now will she Wolfie darling?

    Re: Wolfie

                                                        Chapter 4

I wasn't too sure what they had in store for me, but I was positive that they were going to be alot of help. Wolfie walked silently alongside me as we walked to a group of wolves. "Wolfie? What's going on?" I asked. "Nothing. I just figured, if you're gonna stay with us, you might as well get to know the pack." He said, in a calm and friendly voice. "But, what if they know I'm not really a wolf?" "Roxy, you look like a wolf and right now you are one. You're only human at heart. They won't be able to tell the difference." Wolfie said, in a very reassruing voice. "I guess, but what will I eat and where will I sleep?" I asked. "You'll eat whatever the pack hunts and you'll sleep in the den where me and my parents sleep." "Ah, gross! I have to eat fresh kill?" I groaned. "Yea, if you want to survive out here. It isn't that bad. And besides I'll teach you how to hunt for yourself if you want." "Maybe, but I'm not even sure how long I'll be a wolf. Do you think she'll tell me when I'll become human again?" "Possibly. It's hard to tell with her. She's not exactly what you call, predictable." "Yea I kind of figured that. And how come you let me join your pack so quickly anyways?" I asked supiously. "Because I need you to make me a deal." "What kind of deal?" I asked, a little agitated. We both stopped to talk in private. "I need you to pretend to be my mate. It's sort of important that I find one." "Uh, why?" I asked. "Because remember you asked me why I was so far from my pack earlier?" "Yea." "Well, I had to go find a mate so I could come back home. Cause if I didn't, well, I'd be forced to pair up with that wolf over there." He pointed his snout over to a gray and brown wolf. "What's wrong with her?" I asked. "She's the definition of evil. Plus, she's not what I'd call pretty." "So, why is she evil?" "She wants to take over the pack. And the only way she can do that is by becoming alpha female. And she has to be my mate to do that. And what she has planned for my pack isn't exactly a great idea." "That's horrible! But if I pretend to be your mate, what will be in it for me?" "A place to stay and help on trying to get you to turn back into a human." "Sounds good to me." I said. "You will? Oh great! Thank you so much! And I promise we'll get you back to normal in no time!" He said, in an excited voice. I cocked my head to the side. Maybe it won't be so bad to stay here after all....

    Re: Wolfie

                                                              Chapter 5

I wasn't so sure how this plan was gonna work, but I was positive that I could pull it off. It kind of reminded me of the time me and my two best friends, Gina and Brie, tried to get away with accidentally breaking my mom's precious vase. Oh man, that was terrible! We got into so much trouble after that. Oh, how I miss being a human! I wish there was a way I could go back to normal. But I knew that wasn't going to happen. I had to find out how to please that stupid forest guardian so I can go back to normal. But how was I going to do that? Before I could answer myself, we had walked up to a small group of wolves that looked like Wolfie's age. "Hey! Wolfie! I see your back! And you managed to bring yourself back a girl!" a muscular tan one said. "And look, she's a keeper too!" another tan one said, only not as muscular. "Guys, knock it off." a pretty black and white wolf said, stepping in. She was about my size and had golden eyes. "You two know my brother isn't very comfortable being teased like that." she said, in a calm voice. "Oh Leena, you know were just having our fun." the muscular tan one said. "Yea, better this one then Ms. Priscilla over there." the other tan one said. "Demser," Wolfie warned. "Oh, you better look out Demser, old Wolfie here's gonna get you!" the muscular tan one teased. I rolled my eyes. Obnoxious wolves. "I'm warning you too, Lynerd." Wolfie snapped. Lynerd snorted and looked at me. "So what's your name little lady?" I looked at him and said, "My name's Roxy. And if you call me little lady again, I'll rip your ear off." I growled. He looked at me with a surprised look and then at Wolfie. "Oh, she's a keeper alright." "Uh huh. Sure she is." Demser said, in a sarcastic tone. "Don't make me have to hurt you pretty boy." I snapped. Demser looked at me and then at Lynerd. "Oh, looks like Ms. Priscilla's coming over. See ya around!" They both yelled, running off. "Those two are worse then those woodpeckers up in those trees." Leena sighed. "You got that right." Wolfie agreed. I looked over to see that the wolf they called, Ms. Priscilla, was coming over to us. "Oh great. Here comes Priscilla." Leena groaned. "She doesn't look so bad you guys." I said. "That's because you've never met her. Trust me, she's evil." Wolfie said. I tilted my head and watched as the brown and gray wolf pranced over to us. She looked at me and then smiled at Wolfie. "Oh Wolfie darling! I see you have helped yet another damsel in distress." "Oh brother." Leena said, rolling her eyes. "Excuse me?" I said, not liking the fact that she was acted as if I wasn't there. "Oh darling, I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to him. Now please be so kind as in to but out." She snapped. "Listen here prissy," "It's Priscilla." "Whatever! I don't like the fact that you're just coming over here just to insult me. It's not my fault no one likes you cuz your a prissy two-faced princess who needs to get a life." I growled. "Excuse me?!" She said, in an astonished voice. "You heard me. Come on you guys, lets leave before she gets all katty on us." I said, as Wolfie and Leena followed behind me. Leena turned around and snickered at the amazed look on Priscilla's face. I just kept on smiling. Nothing beats a good day when you put a snobby good for nothing in their place.
