"Oh no!" Saraphina gasped, as she reliezed that she smelled like fox! It was true, she had used a old abandon fox den as her home.

Featherpaw was bored.  She hadn't seen her mentor all day, he had gone out into the forest without her.  She took a quick look around to make sure no one was watching, and then she crept out of the camp.  For a while, she walked the farmiliar trails of her home, catching prey whenever the opportunity came.  She saw a twitch of movement in a holly bush, and heard a gasp: an intruder.  She checked the wind, she was neither upwind or downwind of the other cat, but she knew it wasn't a cat in her Clan.  Featherpaw tensed, flexing her claws. Yowling a battle cry, she pounced, knocking the startled cat out of the bush.

Sure!

     Suddenly, Jaytalon's apprentice ran up from behind her.

"Oh, hi Featherpaw." Jaytalon bekoned her (?) with her tail, and signaled her to be quiet. "I smell fox!" They crept further as they followed scent. Soon, they were at a hole in the gound.
"Must be a fox den. What now?" Jaytalon wondered aloud.

Saraphina sighed in relief, but then relized they were in her home! She charged in hissing, "What are you doing in here!"

Yay! Echoclan has another member! ( dances )

Whew, that was close! Lightshadow thought to herself. When she scented fox, she thought she was dead meat. But atleast she was able to scramble up the nearest tree unnoticed. But then lightshadow heard a commotion several tail-lengths away. She looked down to see a couple of Stoneclan cats surrounding a foxden. " Well, they better not chase the tick-bag over onto Echoclan territory!" She mumbled. After a bit of sneeking around, she finaly made it back to Echoclan territory.

"Let's show it whose boss, as far as I can smell, theres only one, it will be outnumbered" she meowed, her tail twitching with excitement, and crept foreward, eyes blazing with excitement.

Hmmmm...what's that odd smell? I thought,  I had found a small hole in the ground, and there was an odd smell coming off it. It was a mix of fox, StoneClan and another smell I couldn't name. Oh, well, I guess I have nothing better to do. I muttered, and clambred down the tunnel.

Lightshadow rested under a tree int the Echoclan camp, eating a shrew. Another warrior came up to her and asked where Spottedbelly was. " I don't know, " she replied." I haven't seen her since I went out hunting this afternoon." After the other left, Lightshadow thought about where her compannion might be." Last time I saw her, we were chasing a rabit, " she mumbled to herself. and after that.... Oh no! Spottedbelly must have followed her over the border while chasing the rabbit. She might still be over there!

Well, it certainly is dark in here. I thought as I truged on through the tunnel. The scent of StoneClan and fox was getting fainter, but the horrilble smell was getting worse. I wrinkled my nose to keep the smell away. Suddenly I saw two, great red eyes staring me down.

All I could think was Fox dung!

Nightcloud ran excitedly through the forest. This was her first assignment as a warrior. Finally, after many moons she was a warrior. She was tired of silly old apprentice jobs! Now she was on a hunting patrol. Then, Nightcloud head the noise of an animal scuffling through the grass. Quietly, she crouched in a hunting position and leaped. She caught the mouse and buried it to pick up later. As she was going to pounce on a squirrel, she also smelled the strong scent of...... BADGER!

I ran for the exit of the tunnel. The beast may have been big, but it was a mouse-brain. It didn't even have a chance to get up. I burst through the entrance of the tunnel. I began gulping in fresh breaths of air. Once, I had recovered, I headed back to EchoClan camp.

Lightshadow was very worried about her clanmate. It was almost sun-fall and Spottedbelly still wasn't back. She couldn't go look for her because she was stuck training an apprentice all day because his mentor was ill for the time being. But then Lightshadow scented something towards the entrance of the camp. Spottedbelly! Lightshadow rushed over to her meowing almost all at once, "Oh, I'm so glad you're safe! I'm so relieved! No, wait I'm mad! Why didn'y vyou get here earlier? Oh, never mind-you smell waay too much like Stoneclan-we don't want anyone to know we were overthere..Oh, if those Stoneclan cats hurt you, they'll get it for shure-well, you must be hungry. I'll get you a mouse."
