 *Calms everyone down and explains* Once again, sorry I haven't been able to post lately, I just have some things to take care of. So, heres the newest chapter.
                                                              Chapter 8

As I sat there, I suddenly remebered what happened when I was tooken away. All of the friends I made, but worst of all, that ringleader. I was not about to let my cubs have a life like that. Not if I could help it. "Shira? They're gone aren't they?" Zyoe asked, coming behind me. I nodded my head, deep in my thoughts. "I'm so sorry." Zyoe said, laying his head on me. My mom and Xavier then appeared next to us. I looked up and saw the two friendly faces I opened my eyes to when I first came into this world. Then I looked at Xavier. The first good friend I had when I was trapped at the circus. If only dad was here, he'd know what to do. I got up and said," I'm going after them." "But Shira, you don't know where they'd be by now." My mother said. "I don't care. Their my cubs. And as a mother I'm responsible for whatever happens in their life. It's my fault that their gone and I'm not going to let them suffer the same thing that happened to me." I said. "But Shira.." "No. Zyoe, I'm going after them and your not stopping me." I said as I looked Zyoe in the eye. Zyoe grew quiet and sighed deeply. "Ok Shira. Just please, be careful." Xavier said, looking at me with his deep green eyes. I nodded and turned to the road that led to my cubs. Then with all of the strength left in me, I ran through the pouring rain.

                                                            Chapter 9

I ran as fast as I could, following the scent of the truck, until lightning struck a tree. I stood there to surprised to move until suddenly I was shoved out of the way. I slid across the mud and slowly got up. "You okay Shira?" a familiar voice asked. "Howie? Is that really you? What are you doing all the way out here?" I asked. "I was going to ask you the same thing." He said. "My cubs.... they were taken away by poachers..." I said sadly. Howie looked at me sadly and said,"So your going on another adventure, eh?" I smiled at him and said, "I guess so. But now my path is way blocked off." I said. "Well, I did see a poacher truck drive off into town a little earlier. Maybe they're still there." Howie said. "Oh thanks Howie!" I yelled, about to run off. "Wait!" Howie yelled. "What? I really gotta go Howie!" "Let me come with you!" Howie yelled. "I don't know Howie, I mean you having your new pups and all..." "It's worth it. You saved me when we were little and I owe you." I thought for a moment and said,"I could use someone to help me get through this. Alright then, lets go." "I won't let you down." He said, as we raced off into the savannah towards town.
