welp that was exotic, but i partly think it's my fault, but still i camer here looking to make freinds and yet it's CLOSEING DOWN?! it cant close down, many people have been here for ALONG time, what if they dont want to leave?  ZT2 is a wonderful place, many freinds may never see each other agian, they may be very sad!

You all have to see this from a real world point of view, Padfoot obviously gets paid to manage the forums, and i doubt anyone would take up this job for free ( you might say "i will" but i think it would be too much hassle with another life outside the forums) I dont think it is the end of zoo tycoon just yet, because of the user made expansions, but soon people will get bored and run out of ideas, and i reckon give it two years no one will know what zoo tycoon is. No petitions will keep it from closing down because it is a real world issue, it could be something to do with no one wanting to take up the job and Padfoot can't supervise the forums. It could be anything. So i guess this is the last time i will post so i wish you all good luck in the futer and thankyou for a great time on the forums; goodbye.

Zoo Tycoon is over. Only Microsoft has the rights to publish a Zoo Tycoon game and Bluefang no longer has a contract with them. They now have a contract with THQ.

A few user made expansion packs will keep us going for a few months but after a good few ideas have been done, it will slowly fade, new games will come. When you say they now have a contract with THQ  does that mean blue fang or microsoft?

I am shocked to learn of this.

I have a site for RCT-3 and in precess of expanding it for all sim and tycoon related games and whatever else mambers want.

It is six monts old and only has 20 members right now but I am constantly working on adding to it.

Well if the forum does close, I have one thing to say,
I will miss you all.
In the past I dunno know how long this place has become sorta a home for me where people actually like zoo tycoon.
You guys and girls have been very nice to me, thankyou.
I do hope though the forum doesn't close.

Well, we can all join on a different forum, anyone making a forum or should we all join on an already made like zoo tycoon volcano, zoo admin, or such? I am really looking forward to see if we can all meet in another place after this shuts down.
