The secret animal is the Penguin and yes it is an actual animal, you may not be able to adopt more but it is just like any other (except its evil)

How many Killer Penguins have you seen in real life? Granted we have not seen dinosaurs in real life but we know that they existed because of their fossils and we have seen their bones put together in museums. I have never seen or even heard of a Killer Penguin in real life so it is not an actual animal.

It's a bit of an in-joke to ZT1. Penguins could kill and herbavoir as long as they were on their own turf.

How do we know there's no such thing as a killer penguin? We haven't explored all of the antarctic. Until we do so we cannot disprove the Killer penguin. Besides, Zoo Tycoon has always had the element of fiction, the fact that you can't create alliances with other zoos or have a Mountain Gorilla or Bengal Tiger is foremost. People could also argue the Dinos make Zoo Tycoon fictional because they do not exist any more. My personal opinion is that we simply have to wait and see, for all cryptids.

I wasn't critasizing you, I was just pointing out that out of In The Wild threds last allot longer. And by the way, the only threds that are older are- Your own bonus download (sugestions) and New Game That Let's Us Be A Wolf!!!!!!! (in the wild.)

Its called an easter egg lighten up, shesh its a joke, and it is an animal, take the unicorn from zt1 that is fantasy to so calm down, you can't do anything about it, the penguin is in the game wheter you like it or not!

Quite frankly, I think argument over Killer Penguin or whether to start another thread are becoming quite heated. The only other ones I can remember in this thread were over cavemen and quaggas, and those were humorous. Why don't we just drop this? It's evident this thread is going to stick around and you can choose what you want to do w/ Killer penguins. That way we can keep this from becoming a big deal.

Its not an easter egg more like a penguin egg! Seriously, how can we consider that a secret animal when we can't adopt it by normal means in the game? To me a secret animal is one you unlock by finishing the whole game for example. Like the Triceratops and Unicorn in the first game, those were considered secret animals until you finished the scenerios to unlock them. So should we consider the other "mistake" animals that we create besides the KP secret animals also? Since they are created the same way as the KP might as well, huh?

They are, under Animal Enrichment. You get Misty Spring at 1/2 star, Tar Pit at 1 star and Glasier at 3 stars.
