zootycoonman223:I am right now trying to complete the Mysterious Panda Campaign, but I only have 4.5 stars. But if I release an animal to the wild or anything like that I loose 0.5 stars. And I really can't afford any really big time animals such as the Spectacled Bear or Goblin Shark or something. I have on a daily basis anywhere from $1,500 to $8,000. Althouh I do own a pair of Markhor, Baird's Tapir, G. Tortoises, and S. Oryx but those are my most endangered animals. Any tips?
Remember that zoo fame is a multi-tiered thing. You release an animal and it drops half a star. Why? Because either the # of species or # of animals decreased when you released. Simply you need more animals. Different kinds of animals. I recommend putting in a tour if you haven't already (as these will definitely take off and get you money QUICK). The tour basically will fund like a chimpanzee or orangutan. chimps and apes are VERY entertaining. The more entertaining your animals are the more fame and donations you will get.
As far as entertainment goes, also look to add MOOSE (yes, kids love them), Penguins, Barbary Apes (or any cheap chimp, ape, monkey), Asian/African elephant (I think asians are cheaper) at your # of stars you'd have access to the painting easel for the elephants and chimps... guests love this....
also make sure guests have atm's at appropriate places and also enough donation boxes... if you get even 1 complaint of not finding an atm or donation box, you just lost money!
So get some entertaining animals, get MORE animals, release the aging ones into the wild. right now you sound like you are probably playing cat and mouse with some of your originals dying and now you are trying to replace, but aren't doing so fast enough. guests hate to watch animals die.
Also, are your guests entertained? resturaunts? desserts? benches? binoculars? fountains? statues? rides? tours?
