                                                           Chapter 6

Satisfyed with telling off Priscilla, I pranced over to a nearby creek and drunk some water. "Hey, it was pretty amazing how you stood up to Priscilla like that." Wolfie said, walking up next to me. "Really? It wasn't nothing. She's just a spoiled brat." I said casually. "I guess, but it was still pretty awesome." Wolfie said, smiling at me. "So, what do you guys do for fun around here?" I asked. "Fun?" "Yeah, you know, stuff you do when your bored?" I said. "Yeah I know what your talking about, but I don't think you'll find our version of fun, fun for you." Wolfie said. "Try me." "Okay, well we play fight. We travel around the forest, and we sometimes go swimming in the deeper end of the creek." "Oh, well, that isn't so bad. So how about we travel in the woods?" I suggested. "If you want to." He said. "Okay, let's go!" I said, running into the woods. "Wait! Wait for me!" He yelled. "Bet you can't catch me!" I teased. "Oh yeah? I bet you I can!" he yelled back, chasing closely behind me. "Haha! Try to get me now!" I yelled, jumping over a fallen tree trunk. Before he got to it, I quickly crawled underneath of it. "Oh yeah? Well here I am!" He yelled, leaping over the trunk. He stood there bewildered. "Hey, where'd you go?" He yelled. I kept quiet. "Roxy? Seriously, I don't like this." He said, a worry in his voice. "Come on! Don't play around like this!" He said, getting really nervous now. I slowly crawled out from my hiding place and pounced on him. "Aahhh!" He screamed, falling over. "Hahahahaha! I totally got you!" I laughed. He got up, and gave me a sly smile. "Oh yeah? Now I got you!" He yelled, pouncing ontop of me. We wrestled for a few minutes until we both got worn out. I laughed tiredly as he laid there. "Your a pretty good wrestler for a girl." "Yeah? Well so are you, for a boy." I said. We both got up and shook off all the snow that was clinging to our fur. "You know what Wolfie?" "What?" "Your an okay wolf." I said. "I'm guessing that was a compliment?" "Yeah it was. I never really liked wolves when I was a human. I don't know why though. Noone in my village did." "Yeah, me and my pack noticed that. And your an okay human." "Thanks. Well, maybe we should start heading back to the pack." I said. "Yeah, it's starting to get late." Wolfie said, as me and him went our way back home.

Oh don't worry AKwoof, I promise you that I'll do my best to finish my story before the forums close down for good. And if I can't keep that promise, I made an account on Avatar2016's website Zt Member Refugee. Ask her more about it. But yea, I'll probably continue this story from there once the forums are gone.

    Re: Wolfie

                                                              Chapter 7

As me and Wolfie walked silently through the darkness of the woods, I couldn't help but think about how my village is doing without me. I guess it was obvious I was thinking this because Wolfie said, "I'm sure your village missse you too Roxy." "You really think so?" I asked. "Yeah, why not? Okay, maybe you can be a little selfish at first, but once people get to know you...your not as selfish as you were before. Do you get what I'm saying?" He said. "Yeah, I get it. I just wonder how my mom's doing." "What do you mean Roxy?" "Well, when I was a little kid, my father was killed by a wolf. And since then, my village has hated wolves and so have I. But now, I'm one myself. And now I'm begining to understand that wolves are almost like humans. Like, we're all connected in a large circle of life." I said, looking up at the stars. "It isn't just wolves that are connected in that circle Roxy. It's from the tinest bug to the tallest giraffe. We're all connected." Wolfie said. "Wow, I've never thought of it that way. How do you know so much?" "My brother had told me when I was just a pup." "Really? How come I haven't met your brother yet?" "He...was killed by a human almost a week ago." He said quietly. "Oh, I'm so sorry Wolfie...." "It's okay. It's not like you were the human." "I have a question." "Yeah?" "Was the human from my village?" "Unfourtunately, yes. She was." "She? It was a girl?" "Yes. She has hunted us wolves for as long as I can remember. Only, she had men do it for her. She wanted our fur. But when the men wouldn't do the job for her, she decided she'd do it herself. And that's when she came after my brother." "That's terrible! Why would somone do that?" "I don't know Roxy, I don't know. Some humans have a terrible evil that they cannot escape. Until it's too late..." We both walked slowly and quietly for a moment. "What was your brother's name?" "His name was Lukitu. He was a white wolf. And he was always there for me." "Sounds like you two were really close." "We were. And we still are." "But how?" "Even though someone is gone, if you look hard enough, you can always find them in your heart." "Wow, that was beautiful Wolfie." I said. "Thanks. Leena told me that the night Lukitu was killed. And I haven't forgotten it yet." "I doubt you ever will." I said. "You're right. I probably won't. But do you remember anything of your past?" "Not really. Only a few things. I wish I knew who killed your brother, I maybe, would've been able to save him..." "What's done is done. You can't redo the past. You must live in the present and look forward to the future." I nodded in agreement as we continued our walk back home.

    Re: Wolfie

                                                                 Chapter 8

When me and Wolfie finally reached the pack, something was terribly wrong. Everyone was laying still and whining. Wolfie was soon to break the silence. "What's going on here?" He demanded. I watched as Demser and Lynerd crept slowly over to us. Wolfie turned and narrowed his eyes at them. "Well?" Wolfie asked. "It shouldn't be us that should tell you this Wolfie. But...." "But what?" Wolfie asked, a little edge in his voice. "Your friend Roxy has to go." Lynerd finished. I gave out a large gasp and looked at Wolfie. "But why? What did she do?" Wolfie asked, a little angrily. "You'll have to ask your father. He's the only one that can tell you." Demser said, as he and Lynerd slunk off into the pack. Wolfie looked at me for a good minute and whispered, "Do you think they know?" "How would they? No one was around when it happened. At least I don't think there was." I whispered back. Wolfie nodded and walked ahead to his father. "Dad, why does she have to leave?" Wolfie demanded. "She's too much of a threat to our pack." He snarled. I shivered. His dad didn't have the friendliest voice. "Oh? And how's that? Because she's not from around here?" Wolfie asked. "No, it isn't that. I just can't deal with this right now. Now, she can leave in the morning. But if she isn't gone by tomorrow evening, she's toast." He growled, walking away. Leena looked at me sadly and followed behind him. I couldn't believe it. Rejected by a pack of wolves. This was just to unreal. "I won't let them kick you out like this Roxy. I can promise you that." Wolfie said. "Now Wolfie, don't be getting into trouble because of me. I can take care of myself. I'll leave tonight." I said quietly. "But Roxy, you can't..." Wolfie started. "I must. It's been great getting to know you and your pack, but I'm afraid I have to go." I said, running off. "Roxy! Wait!" Wolfie yelled after me. But I didn't look back. I had to do this on my own now. But where to start from was the problem...

    Re: Wolfie

                                                                  Chapter 9

As I ran through the forest, I noticed something strange. I stopped and looked around. I was a good two miles from Wolfie's pack and I wasn't sure where I was. Suddenly, I heard a gun click. I was being hunted! I quickly made a mad dash for the bushes when a rope got tangled around my left rear leg. I tumbled to the ground and thrashed franticly. When I looked up, I saw a man with a gun. "What do we have here?" He mumbled. I watched as his border collie circled me anxiously. "Back off pretty boy." I growled. "Oh, a tough girl aren't you? Well you ain't so tough now wolf." He taunted. "Don't mess with me dog. I'm warning you right now." I said, letting out a low growl. The collie snickered and barked at his owner. "I see we have a shewolf and that your maybe a bit over a year old. You'll make a great present for my village." He laughed coldly. I sighed. This was it. I was finished. But before the hunter could raise his gun to shoot me, I heard a loud snarl. "What the-?" The hunter started, before he was thrown to the ground. I looked at the hunter's attacker with a relived smile. It was Wolfie. Wolfie snarled and pulled at the man's gun angrily. "Let go you stupid mutt!" The hunter yelled in frustration. The hunter's collie barked furiously as Wolfie grabbed ahold of his gun. Quickly, Wolfie pulled the rope from around my leg and we both ran off. He had the gun safely clutched in his jaws until we came to a stop. "What do you think you were doing!? Going off in the middle of the night! Are you crazy!?" Wolfie yelled, as he sat the gun down. "I think I was leaving like your father said! And why were you following me anyway?" I yelled back. "Because I was making sure you didn't get hurt." He said quietly. I lowered my head. "But why? Why would you risk your own life, just to save mine?" I asked. "I just did okay? And your lucky I was there too. Or you would've been killed.." We were both quiet for a few minutes. "Thanks." I mumbled. "It was nothing. Now come on. Let's get you somewhere safe." He said, as he led the way.
