I kind of think there will be a Zoo Tycoon 3 because on the website you used to be able to choose between information about zoo tycoon 1 and zoo tycoon 2. I think this may likely be to make room for a new game in the zoo tycoon series. Of course, I could be wrong, but I still think Blue Fang will create a brand new version of zoo tycoon, Zoo Tycoon 3. Oh, and maybe they should just put all the expansions in one so our parents won't have to spend as much money as they did for the expansions of zoo tycoon 1 and 2. And from what I heard while looking at Wikipedia, zoo tycoon 2 extinct animals may be the last zoo tycoon 2 expansion and it would kind of boring for that to be all there's gonna be for the zoo tycoon series.

I doubt there will be a Zoo Tycoon 3. What else is there to do but add the ability to make your own animals, but some people can do that, too. And I don't think there will be any more expansions either, although there is a chance that they will make a Mythical Madness expansion. I think.

I don't think there will be a Zoo Tycoon 3.  There's not much to improve, except some annoying bugs.  The graphics are good and I like Zoo Tycoon 2.  I also don't want to buy all the expansions for Zoo Tycoon 3, I'll probably won't even be able to play because my computer would go soo slow.  Oh ya. Something else they could improve if there was a Zoo Tycoon is make AI smarter would be cool.  But I  doubt Microsoft and Blue Fang would make another Zoo Tycoon.

i really dont know but when u see ads theyll say Zoo Tycoon 3, and then ill click on it and it turns out to be something for roller coaster tycoon 3. most of the ads r from www.google.com and when u type in zoo tycoon1,2, or zt1,2 is when u get it

I honestly think that to say there won't be a ZT3 is like there wouldn't be a Sims 3... which there will (it was already announced). people could argue against ZT3 saying that it is already perfect, that only some glitches would need to be fixed.  But i think they are confusing the idea of EXPANSIONS with NEW GAMES.  A new version of a title allows companies to completely reinvent their concept.  And new version doesn't have to be ANYTHING LIKE the version before it. For Sim games lik ZT, this usually includes major visual enhacements (such as better graphics), improved UI systems, and better character (in the case of ZT, "animal") autonomy (including how naturally the animal moves, navigates its environment, knows it's needs, expresses itself, etc).  Also, oftentimes developers will include at least a few wishlist items that the fans requested after the previous version (in this case, ZT2) was released.  usually the new version is not about HOW MUCH STUFF (or animals, toys, etc) you get, but actually the overall feel and quality of the simulation itself should have been vastly improved.

To say you see no need for improvement on ZT2, so there is no need for a ZT3, is like saying they can just stop building cars now... they are ok as is, right?  Just because we can't personally imagine what that new game concept would look like, doesn't mean it won't be significant.  There will be things they will goof, and things that are much improved... but overall, the newest version of a game franchise like Zoo Tycoon will almost always be more socially & technologically modern than those that came before it.  This can oftentimes make the latest version worth it to gamers unto itself... just to experience ll the newest greatest stuff that was put into the game for ther latest version.

I myself can't wait for a ZT3... I have enjoyed the enhanced game experience of ZT2 over ZT... and I'm positive ZT3 will be just as awesome!  Since EA just announced The SIms 3 will be released in 2009, and since these two games pretty much follow each other (most of my Sims playing friends love both games equally) historically, I'm guessing we may see ZT3 in 2009 as well.

Again, it is just a guess, but I don't believe for a millisecond Microsoft Games or Atari would abandon this franchise.... it is a great big money maker.

My two cents anyways.  LOL.

I think there should be a Zoo Tycoon 3. Built on a completly new engine.

Animals need to be more animal like and act like they normally would - like hunting in packs and communicating to each other.

but on another forum, Someone did tell us that there will be one more expansion after EA, it will be beased on the television series The Future Is Wild. And Then  Zoo Tycoon 3 will MAYBE come out in 2009. But then the Topic Dissapeared? BUt thats all i got out of it, But they said that Zoo Tycoon 3, is gonan take some SUPER computer graphics, and it will have anacondas and over 300 animals, that way they dont have to make anymore expansions. But, then it dissapeared.

No game will have 300 animals. So what you read about ZT3 was most likely a myth. But that new EXP.... maybe. I really don't think so. Unless that someone was a BF guy.

there is going to be a sims 3 so i wont be supprised if theres a zt3 theres so much more they could add and modify just for it to be more realistic would be cool if you could have show for animals like you can water mammals
