I don't think Rocky has done enough good yet to be consided better then Flower as a leader. After all, has she done anything to expand the group? She hasn't fully mated since her premature pups, and we all know how that ended. However she did find that clean burrow. I won't say Rocky is better than Flower, Flower did a lot of things that helped make the Whiskers into what they are now. But Rocky could still stand up to her mother, who knows? So far I say she's an okay leader, she hasn't got the group into too much trouble but hasn't had a grand fight and won more turf, either. I still like Meerkat Manor, but I'm not a super-fan anymore. I hope that there is one more season, then go off air. After all, almost all the oldies died off now. Just left to Youssy and Zaphod. (Youssy isn't dead, right?)
Good point. Rocket Dog is kind of more calm and slightly more shakey than Flower. Flower was strong and noble. Here are good qualities I see in both:
Rocket Dog;
- Calm
- Knows when to end a hopeless fight
Flower;
- Strong
- Noble
- Strict
- Willing to help her pups
