Ok guys this is the last time I am poting this!

There is no more packs!You are randomly put into packs for missions!

 I have said a couple times in my first posts on this thread that grey wolves and timberwolves are different but it was a mistake I posted months ago and I have corrected myself.

May I point out the rather obvious fact that, though many of you are already choosing names, species, and colors, we do not yet know for a fact that you will be allowed to do so in the game itself?  Is it not more probable that you will be randomly assigned a wolf model?

Why are wolves so incredibly popular anyway?

If you go to the FAQs and look under the first question, second paragraph, it says "Players will be able to configure their wolf avatar at the start of the game, choosing its gender coat pattern and color, and naming it, before venturing into the wild."  If you dont believe me, go see for yourself at http://www.wolfquest.org/about_faqs.html.

It says in the FAQ

11. How do I meet up with friends in the multi-player missions?
We are still working on that, but we expect to have private "meeting rooms" where you can form a pack with your friends.

Wow!  This thread got bumped!
This is Michelle again from the Minnesota Zoo working on WolfQuest.  There is a newsletter coming out very soon with some nice announcements in it.  Also there is currently not a demo available to the public.  I can tell you that I am getting excited about this game and I am not a huge gamer.  Thanks for all your interest.
