Chapter 2
A few weeks went by and Tonori and Naomi finally opened their eyes for the first time. They looked at me and I smiled at them. "Who are you?" Tonori asked. "I'm your mother. And you two are brother and sister." I said smiling. "We are?" Naomi asked. "Yes. And your name is Tonori and your names Naomi." I said. "Really? Cool! I got a way cooler name!" Tonori said looking at Naomi. "Na uh." She argued. "Ah huh." He argued back. This went on for a few minutes until I said, "Knock it off you two." "She started it!" Tonori said. "No I didn't! You did!" She snapped. I sighed and said to myself, "Now I'm starting to wish when they couldn't talk." Then as I looked up, Xavier, Zyoe, and my mom came over. "They can see now?" Zyoe asked looking at them. "Yeah, and they can talk." I said. "Naomi, Tonori. Look over here." My mom said gently. They both turned around and looked at her. "Who are they?" Naomi asked noticing Xavier and Zyoe. "I'm your grandmother and that is your father. And this one over here is your Uncle Zyoe." My mom said smiling. "Oh. Hi!" Naomi said happily. Then she stood up. We all looked at her and smiled. "She took her first steps!" I said excitedly. Then Tonori gave it a shot. He tried to stand up, but then fell back down. I chuckled and nuzzled him. "Can't you stand up too?" Naomi asked. "I'm trying. Don't rush me woman!" He snapped. "Well fine then. Be that way." Naomi snapped back. He attempted it again and finally stood up. "I did it!" He said proudly. We all smiled and watched as they started to learn what the wild was all about.
