    The Wolf's Prophecy

Here's the battle! I wonder what Wind's fate will be....

Then Storm suddenly had an idea. Maybe, if he acted fast, Wind could jump up just before the coyotes climbed down to the ledge. It might work, Storm suddenly realized, but then cried inwardly as she saw Keldari step forward, down the steep slope to Wind. Snake and one other coyote went behind her. It was too late now. Storm heard whines and growls, and found she was visualizing it all. All the bloodshed, all the flashing claws, and finally, her father’s dying growl as he fell.

Her ears pricked. The battle was still going on! She had been merely imagining it. But she knew the end would still be the same; there was no hope for Wind. But she nonetheless strained to hear it. She heard claws scraping, and barks. She slowly paced forward to the cliff edge as she noticed that the two coyotes still guarding her were watching the battle, too.

It was a gruesome sight. Three coyotes, Keldari, Snake, and the other, were pushing Wind to the edge. His back paw sent pebbles clattering down the ravine. He quickly jumped forward, to the cliff face, where we would be less likely to fall.

    Re: The Wolf's Prophecy

    MUHAHAHA!!!

Storm gazed down in fear. The coyotes were forcing Wind right against the cliff wall, snarling and spitting. They would do him in right there instead of pushing him over if they had to. Wind’s only choice was to jump over the coyotes. But if he did, the force would probably send him tumbling down the canyon.

But it was his only choice.

Wind realized this soon enough. He knew there was no avoiding it, and only thought, Well, I suppose death comes to all in the end. And how better to die than heroically?

That took me a few minutes. I'll probably post the next part soon.

    Re: The Wolf's Prophecy

First person to guess what  really happened to Wind gets a virtual pizza!

Storm could only watch in horror as her father leaped over the enemy coyotes. His front paws met on the other side, just before the edge. For a moment, all four paws touched stone. Wind’s fur slowly laid down in shocked relief. The coyotes were too stunned to react yet, though as moments passed by, that didn’t matter for fate itself was on their side.

The rock were Wind was perched suddenly gave way and cracked. The force of his landing was too hard.

The rock fractured and splintered, and the earth sunk down. But before he fell, Wind’s eyes met with Storm’s. A thought was passed between them

I’m sorry, Storm. So sorry. But I’ll be at your side forever and ever. Don’t ever forget that! Promise! So run, Storm, run like never before. You don’t even need to look back. There isn’t any more hope for me.

And with that, that part of the cliff crumbled, and Wind fell silently into the shadows of death.

Sorry to dampen these spirits, but I do not see this book as one of those published novels. I see it as just another story, it's just like all the others...

    That is just mean.

But I'm probably not going to be able to write enough to make it a novel. Although.... I could probably make a sweet short-stories book.

    Re: The Wolf's Prophecy

I agree one hundred percent with Dragonriders.

P.S. Sorry about the hole Harry Potter thing in my story. I wuv Harry Potter as much as the next guy. Infact, i wouldn't have mentioned any of the characters in that story if i didn't like them ( well, exept for Berrynose, because he's a stuck up). Anyway, I hope there is no hard feelings.

Sorry for straying off topic. Wind died? Poor Wind! Poor Storm! Mean old Mountain cliff thing!

Plz continue. And yes, i would buy this book, but  there kinda wouldn't be a point because i allready bought it on line. But i would by it for my cousin! She wuvs reading.

    Salutations!
    I am sad.
    The forums are shutting down.
    But there iz still hope!

Oh, so I suppose your stories are better than any of ours? We all suck at writing but you're the overlord of it? Is that it? Sorry to dampen your spirit, Mozart, but, what's gotten into you lately? You've gotten rude. Sorry if I seem mean, but you need to take a chill pill or something. You've been making mean comments everywhere.

    But seriously, what's wrong?
