It may have been a fox, bird of prey, or even a raccoon or a dog, but it all stands a mystery!

It also sounds like we have a lot of heroic dogs around here!! My dog isnt to heroic, he is scared of his own shadow, and for some reason, when he got sprayed by a skunk, he kept going back for more from the skunk. I tryed calling him back but he is very stubborn with me and since he wouldnt listen, he was foaming very badly at the mouth and his right eye was twitchy, that could mean temporary blindness. But he is better now!:)

Pikafuey:

I've got a few stories about my pets as well. My box turtle Sheldon was found after we nearly ran him over! He was in the middle of the road so I got out and went to put him back in the woods when my step-dad decided to keep him. So I took him home and let him stay out in our tomato garden, when he just disappaered one day! It's kinda wierd to explain to people how Sheldon just ran away. And a long time ago, about six years ago when I was eight, my old dog Dupon saved my life from being attacked by a rottie. My neighbor had this rottie that he trained to be a guard dog. Only he was insane, always jumping the fence on people. Well, I was walking down to my friends house when the rottie jumped the fence and had me pinned up against this fence. Dupon was a chichua and jack russell mix so he was pretty small. Well, somehow he got out of my house and came running down my alley. He rammed the rottie on his side and the rottie took off running! I owed him my life after that. Turns out, he jumped out the closest window to the ground because it was open. If it weren;t for him, I could've been seriously hurt. I miss him now. And sometimes I miss Sheldon, but these are my pet stories.

Re: Who has amazing stories about their pets?

I've got a few stories about my pets as well. And, lo and behold, there was the snake. We got some guys to move the cupboard cos it was heavy but they didnt know that it was a real snake. they saw it and one of them started to reach for it but i quickly took over and when i pulled out a living, breathing snake, the guys nearly jumped out of their skins! My dog Tanna (I think this was only a few weeks after we got him.) ran away, straight out of the door cus SOMEONE left it open. We didn't find him, but some people bought him back in the car. The 2nd time he ran off, he got hit by a car but it didn't hurt him, just some bruises. The person in the car was very helpful (forgotten there name) and well, Tanna never runs away now. He learnt his lesson that day.
Re: Who has amazing stories about their pets?

Ok this is my last one cause i cant think of anymore at the moment. Its about MY cat George.........

He is a coon cat, black with a little brown near his tail and to white "stars" on his neck and his belly.

I got him cause my rabbit had died a week after i got him for easter. So since i didnt have a pet and my 2 bros had a pet to play with, which where to other rabbits. So i was bored and trying to find something to do and then day my dad brought this little guy home. He was a about a month old kitten and he followed me everywhere! I liked him alot, and he also purred loudly. But there are some stuff that can be annoying about him but i still love him. He wont do this during 7 am- 11pm, he plucks at the screens and doors and has a qute meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooowww! My mom thinks its annoying, and i can see that cause it annoys me every now and then but it sounds funny! A night, we would let him out and he would see his sister, Sophie (the cat in my first story.). She would be hunting flying squirrls up on the roof. She had caught one and George went to see it. He jumped up on the railing and then on the roof. Before he could reach her he would tumble down the roof. We could hear him falling down it with "thump thump thump thump" and then hear him screach his claws an the windows above our kitchen. He also likes to throw up by and gives us a minute warning with "gack gack gack gack gack!" We lift him up and get him outside as fast as possible. one time he threw up in mid air when my mom put him outside. And he has what seems to be an uncontrollable hair ball problem and we just got him shaved cause it was to thick for a comb. Also, his pupils dont dialate correctly somtimes. Hes hard to take care of, but at least i could still play with him.

Some of that is funny to people some of it is not. SO if you dont think somthing is not funny to you, you dont have to say it was funny. I think that some of the stuff is not funny like the hairball problem.

Re: Who has amazing stories about their pets?

You were lucky you found little Hammy!

One time Hunca escaped, and all we had to do was call her, like a dog. Only we called her in a loud whisper, as not to scare her. Sure enough, Hunca waddled out from under a big, old, chunky, loud, printer (I don't know old that thing is, it goes up to my hip, but it prints only black and white... <img src="/emoticons/emotion-18.gif" alt="Huh?
Atleast Hammy had a long and good life, with a taste of freedom of course!

Re: Who has amazing stories about their pets?

Lol!
One day I forgot to shut Hammy's cage before I went to sleep. The next morning he was gone. Everyone looked for him everywhere.Atlast we found him, but he was in the sofa.He had burrowed through the cusions, and slept there. We tried getting him out by leaving a trail of food for him, but it didn't work.My dad had to cut open the bottom in order to get him out.Atlast we got him out.He had brought a bunch of food with him into the sofa as if it was his new home. But we didn't care. What matterd was that we found him, and he was safe. Two years later he died from a eye disease.
