This cheat is cool.

To activate it you must have Zoo Tycoon Extinct animals, then you take out your fossil finder and press Shift and the question mark button next to it both at the same time about 10 times until the game pauses. Then right click and time should have been frozen when you have the fossil finder out.

ALSO YOU CAN WALK INTO BUILDINGS AND THROUGH FENCES AND WALLS, BUT NOT MOUNTAINS!

Okay heres how you do it

put the dodo together. on the DNA thing get 1 right on the first page and get 2 on the next. idk if it always works cuz i accidentally uncrated the kp so i can't get another. also question.

if a killer penguin dies, can you get another since it's one per zoo because i want to breed them but i cant get another because i uncrated him and does anyone know any other site besides zoo tycoon volcano to get the adoptable kp hack or can some one mesh a rockhopper penguin and some thing monstrous for me so i can get a somewhat alike killer penguin? i can't mesh.

I have thought of a cool new idea! Ok, it's best if you have EA for this. So, anyway, look for a EA map that says about a dried up river in the rainforest, if you go to it, look for a large wetland place with water dotted about, then go to the entrance, look for a funny looking path that you can't buy, then look for a waterfall, if you have found all this, you are in the right map. You don't have to delete the path for this, the path looks like something from an ancient rainforest ruin, so keep this. Now, go to the wet lands part, and put some wet land-dwelling animals there, next, put some artic cod (MM needed) in the water that is dotted about. Now, go to the rainforest waterfall and put koi (MM needed) in, go along all the water places putting in artic cod for the wet lands places and koi for the rainforest places. Now place rainforest animals in the rainforest part, like tigers, black panthers, so on. Now, close the zoo and go into guest mode or camera mode. You can now take pictures and wander around, as if you are in the rainforest that has a dried up river in it, just run around, looking at the animals and so on! It's really fun and you can get beautiful pictures by doing it.

Marine Mania needed for coral reef.

Do almost the same for the coral reef one, except pick a map with a coral reef in it and place marine animals in the reef and then put fish in the coral reef and swim around, taking pictures and watching the animals in their natrual habitat. It's actually quite relaxing.

Making A Stable Without Space Limits =]

I have been using this idea for a while now, and I wanted to share it with others to help them out if they were trying to find a way to create a stable without having to worry about the animals space limits. This is how you do it:

1.) Each stall is 3x3, so figure out how many stalls you want in your stable. The aisle in the middle of the stable is going to be 3 paths wide. So if you are doing a stable with 10 stalls, you would need to create a rectangle that is 9x15(figuring that 5 stalls are on each side).

2.) Go ahead and place the pathway of your choice in the center aisle of the stable.

3.) Now you do the stalls. I personally like to use the wooden slat fences for the stalls, and also the high iron bar fence on the sides of the stall to allow communication between the animals while they are in their stalls.

I will post pics because when you do the stalls, it gets confusing when you say it in words, and having a visual is much easier.

This MegaManual was a smash when I first announced it, and I said it should have been released by May 17. Sorry it was not, but... I got a new computer running Fedora 9 Linux (not Windows) so I have yet to try to get the game installed (have to use emulators, I know it sucks but oh well) and I am moving from Ohio to North Carolina so I cannot use the game till then (it has been packed up and buried under many, many boxes) but, I still plan to make the MegaManual for you all to enjoy. I'll have to kick it into overdrive though, as I am shooting for a First Day Of Fall release, or, at the worst, Halloween. So, shall we breathe life into this MegaManual again and make this a community effort? Sure shootin we will! Here's what I ask of you people, but note that you do not have to do anything if you do not want to, this is voluntary. This MegaManual will be available to everyone, regardless of whether or not you help. 1) I will need to know what stuff I should put in the Manual. I wont put in how to beat the levels, so heck with that, no walkthroughs. I could though put in Tips & Tricks, however. I will update this post(probably reply to my own post to update lol, but this post itself may be updated) if I ask of anything else, pictures or whatnot. But for now, lets work on what we have NOW to worry about.

How to do your own ATM Hack!!

Hello everyone! I used to have Zoo Tycoon 2 with the ATM hack, but after re-installs I lost it. Since I couldn't find it again, I decided to attempt to do my OWN ATM hack. It's a very simple procedure and results are the best: an EXCELLENT MONEY CHEAT!!

For those who don't know, the ATM hack was a change in the game's information that made ATMs cheap and you could sold them for $6,000
I'm writing this because I've seen many people looking for a good money cheat and can't find the ATM hack.
How to do it? Here are the steps:

1- To ensure ourselves that we don't screw up the game, we will make a back up of the file named "entities.z2f" (without ""). When I mean a back up, it means copy that file to a new folder, in case we need to return back to normal. The file is located in the main Zoo Tycoon 2 folder.
2- Open the original "entities.z2f", it'll probably ask you what program to use, use a Zip program like WinZiP, or Winrar (best).
3- Inside the zip, enter the folder "Entities", then "Objects", then "Buildings" and finally enter the folder "ai".
4- In here, look for the file "atm_df.xml", extract it into a folder of your choice. (note: if you want to do this cheat, but with a different structure, simply look for the structure you want to modify in this list)
5- Open that file you extracted with a text editor, Notepad is useful enough. Look for the following line:
<ZTEconomyComponent cost="###">
(note: ### = a number)

The number in here is the cost of your building, by default, an ATM costs 800. Change the value to whatever you want, like 100 or 0. Here is a sample of how it should look like when you modify it (with a cost of $100):

6- Look for this line (should be after and near the previous one):
<ZTTransaction name="destroy" cost="##" costType="%parent" type="credit" category="recycling"/>
(note: ## = a number)

The number in here (marked with ##) is the ammount of cash you get for selling your building, by default, an ATM gives you 80. Change the value to whatever you want, like 500 or 6000. Here is a sample of how it should look like when you modify it (with a selling price of $8,000):

Once you've changed the cost of buying and the ammount you gain in selling it, save and close the file.
7- Now open the original "entities.z2f" again, go back to the same location you went before (Entities > Objects > Buildings > ai) and eliminate the file you were editing (in this case, the "atm_df.mxl"). Wait for it to finish, click on add and look for the file you’ve edited, that will have the same name of the one you just eliminated, in a way, replacing it. Once you add the file, close it and BINGO! You should have yourself the cheat running on Zoo Tycoon 2. If you messed something up, simply use the back up to replace the "Entities.z2f" file we've modified to return back to normal.

Note: As you may have realized, almost everything can be edited this way. Feel free to explore the “Entities.z2f” file, and look for the ai folders that have info on each object. But DO always remember to have a back up of the original file, at least just in case...
