For starters, get the gazel first, you get a cash grant. And do not get peafowl, (if they lay eggs, you need to wait a while before you can relese them, you can't adopt them out)
Most of the african animals are around 3 1/2 stars, so work your way up by mostly relying on guest happines, animal happines, educatinal habitats and entertaining animals for fame,(a sky tram helps, a lot.)
