                                           Chapter I

         The Interview.

It was a nice morning in Kalahari County.The sun was rising, the birds were singing, and the Whiskers were busy.

"Okay everyone get up,"orderd Flower."Yes ma,"said Mitch."Het boss,"said Sophie,"this afternoon the reporters from the Kalahari County News Station want to ask you some questions since Season 3 is tomorrow."Oh well I can't wait,"said Flower.

That afternoon the boss of the new station Quillcaloss Jones the Crested Porcupine arrived with his reporters (bat eared foxes, golden moles, other meerkats, ect). Then he started interviewing Flower.

"Tell me Flower what's it like to be dominant female of the Whiskers?"Asked Quillcaloss."Oh not hard at all like it is for Cazanna,"said Flower."Well what do you plan to do this season,"said Quillcaloss."Expand our territory by fighting the Zappas, and the lions,"said Flower."You lan to fight the lions!"Said Quillcaloss in a suprised voice."Yup I sure do,"said Flower."But the're...."No more of it just get on with the interview,"demanded Flower."Uh okay last question why did you let Hanibal take over your territory?"Asked Quillcaloss."Um a,"said Flower.'Tick Tock Tick Tock," said Quillcaloss."Well um I have to go take care of the pups so I can't answer any more questions, but thanks for coming Quillcaloss,'said Flower."But ah..."get out,"demanded Flower.Then she shoved him and his reporters out of the burrow and slamed the door.But before she did she got porcupine quills stuck in her nose."Ouch,"said Flower.

That night Flower saw the Comandos saw she was getting ready for bed."Ah!"Yelled Flower.They were chasing her. She ran, and ran, and ran as fast as she could, but then she fell into a big black hole."Ahhhhh!"Yelled Flower.Then the Comandos lifted her up and tied her to a post to watch her pups be served as dinner to the lion judges on the show Kalahari Cook Off."Ahhh no no!" Yelled Flower.Then she saw all that the adult, and teenage females in the Whiskers were pregnant."Ah no no!"Yelled Flower.Soon all her pups were eaten.Then she was thrown into a huge pit of elephant dung.'Nooooooo!" Yelled Flower.Then she heard the deep voice.'Floooower, Floooooower,"it said.Then it started to get lighter, and lighter until.....

"Flower, Flower wake up it's season 3,"said Sophie. "Ah!"Screamed Flower.Then she saw a spy camera.She looked at the other Whiskers grumpily."Uh that was Quillcalosse's doing,"said Zaphod."Oh this is gonna be a long season I'm not sure I'll live threw it,"said Flower.

I'm back with tales of one of the most furriest soap operas (and also one of the few stories on this site that's not about a wolf pup nursing, and learning its name).Well let's begin.

                               Chapter II

                                   Babysitting Blues.

Flower soon forgot about her dream and told everyone to start foraging.Everyone obeyed her.Well almost everyone.Her partner Zahpod was taking it easy while she was working.He was more relaxed than a sleeping dog, and lay more still in his easy chair than a muddy ol, log.

"Zaphod why aren't you helping?"Asked Flower."Well,"said Zaphod,"now that my nutty brother Yousarrian is gone I don't have any competion for dominant male."I could send troops out to find him so he could be the new dominant male so help unless you want to loose your position!"Yelled Flower."Okay, okay don't tear my paw off,"said Zaphod.

When the morning duties were done the group went out to try to find food.Sophie and Jogu stayed behind to babysit Flower's latest litter Buster, Izzy, and Sugs.But it wasn't easy.

"Sophie give me milk,"demanded Izzy."Izz I've told you a gazillion times I'm not old enough to give you milk,"said Sophie."Do you think I'm gonna let a small fact like that stop me from getting what I want when I want it,"said Izzy."Uh yah,"said Sophie."Don't you talk to me like that, I'm the future of the Kalaharry, you wern't even supposed to be born,"said Izzy."It's Kalahari Izz, and stop teasing you don't know what it's like not to have your mom around,"cried Sophie.Then she ran into the burrow to be alone."Give me milk,"demanded Izzy.And she chased after Sophie. Things were no better for Jogu.

"Ouch, Buster stop bitting my ,Ouch, ear, and Sugs stop ,Ouch, bitting my ,Ouch, tail,"said Jogu."You don't tell us what to do,"said Sugs."Yah,"said Buster."You two are just like your moms,"said the pups to Sophie, and Jogu,"Stupid ha ha."The two babysitter snuck into the burrow while the pups were laughing.

When they were finally alone they started talking."Oh Jogu I wish we could see our uncle Shakespeare were here he would show thoose poor excuses for pups who's boss,"cried Sophie."Me to,"said Jogu,"but we have no idea where he is, what he's doing, or even if he's alive."Then they looked at the wall.On it there was a portrait of their uncle Shaksepeare.It was painted with the finest berry juice, the finest paint brush, and the finest easel in all of Kalahari County.How they wished to see him again.Eventually they got over their sadness.Just then...........

"Come on out babysitters take us somewhere we're bored, and hurry up,"said the pups."I guess we better take them somewhere,"said Sophie.Jogu agreed.He had a idea how to teach thoose pups a lesson.

                                         Chapter III

Sophie and Jogu made their way out of the burrow.

"Grrrrrr hurry up looser,"growled the pups."We're coming braggers,"said Sophie." We're aloud to call you two names, but you're not aloud to call us names,"said Buster.Little did the meerkat knw that a large eagle owl was watching their every move.

"Ha ha I may not be able to pick up the adults, but a pup qould taste just as good," he said.

Soon the meerkats were far away from the burrow.Then....

"Owwww oh ouch ei ah owwwwwww,"yelled Jogu."Pups wait there I'm going to see what's wrong with Jogu,'said Sophie.But the pups didn't want to wait so they ran of into the tall grass when Sophie wasn't looking.

"What's the matter Jogu?"Asked Sophie."Nothing I was faking it, and it's a good thing I did the pups are gone,"said Jogu."Jogu, what are we gonna tell Flower,"said Sophie."Hi guys what's up?"Asked Mitch who had just come home.Sophie told him all about what Jogu had done.After arguing a little the three friends went out to find the pups.

Little did they know that the pups were playing hide and seek in Commando territory.Then the eagle owl picked them up.

"Gotta ya you little rats,"laughed the owl."You don't say that to the future of the Kalamari,"said Issy."Meerkats the futures of the, Ouch,"screamed the owl.Buster had bitten one of his toes and the eagle owl dropped them."Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," screamed the pups.Then they fell right next to a sleeping brown hyena.Luckily they didn't wake him up.Then they heard a rustling sound in the grass.Was it lion, a puff adder, or a rival meerkat group.No it was the babysitters.

"Yahoo you're here, ah I mean it's about time,"yelled the pups.But because they yelled so lould the hyena woke up, and he looked hungry."Ah six scrumptious little meerkats,"he said as he liked his lips."Run!"Yelled Mitch.And all of the meerkats ran into a bolt hole before the hyena could get them."No ho ho I'm hungry!"Cried the Hyena.

At last the babysitters, and pups made it back to there burrow.Then the rest of the Whiskers came back, but they had no food.

"We ventured across a half square mile area, but our luck of finding scrumbsious invertabrates, and small vertabrates was negative,"said Einstien."What?"Asked the babysitters."Um what Einstien means is we found no food,"said Zaphod."Oh,"said the pups."Well we have to try again,"said Flower, and she lead the group out to find food.But Issy had a hard time keeping up.

"Help, help!"She Yelled.Sophie came and rescued her.Then the Whiskers found it. Lush feeding grounds.But then the Zappa group showed up.

"This is our feeding ground,"said Frank Zappa (the leader),"but we shall have a fight."Yes,"Said his partner Lola,"the winner keeps the feeding ground, and the looser has to forage somewhere else."Flower agreed, and soon the two groups were fighting.Before the battle had started though Sophie, Jogu, Mitch, and the pups ran away.At the ened of the battle the Whiskers won.

"Yahoo we get the half square mile area of lush invertebrates, and small vertebrates wich are full of fiber, and vitamins!"Cheered Einstien."Uh yah,"said Zaphod.But then the Whiskers realized the pups were missing.They wanted to go search for them, but it was to late so they had to go back to their burrow.

             But the question is.......

           Where are the pups, and babysitters?

                                       Chapter IV

                        The Rise of Heroes.

The Whiskers wer very determened to find the pups, and Babysitters tomorrow. Little did they know that the pups were strugling for there lives.When the babysitters took them away from the battle they ran of and fell down a Zappa trap.It was a tunnel that shot them into the mouth of the Big River.Unfortenatly the Big river was filled with the largest, most ferocious crocodiles in Africa.

"Help!"Cried the pups."Hang on,"said the babysitters who had just arrived.They made a chain of meerkats to get the pups out of the river.Then Jogu saw a african giant millipede."Sorry gotta go,'said Jogu.Then he let go of Mitch, and he made Sophie let go of him.Then Mitch splashed into the river.

"*Cough, cough* help.!"Screamed Mitch."Mitch can you swim over, and grab the pups?"Asked Sophie."*Cough* I'll try,"said Mitch.He swam towards them.At last he got them.But a crocodile was heading towards them.Then Mitch, and the pups jumped on the crocodile and then jumped to another, and another until they were at the bank of the river.Then Jogu came back with a millipede in his mouth.Sophie, and Mitch didn't look to happy.

"Oh sorry guys,"said Jogu."Ah that's okay,"said Sophie."Um well it's getting late, and the pups are tierd so maybe we should go, and spend the night in that burrow," said Mitch.The others didn't want to, but they didn't have a choice so they went to the burrow to sleep.

The next day the Whiskers searched for missing members, but after they'd searched their whole territory they knew the pups must be in Zappa terriory.

"Oh well we tried let's go home,"said Zaphod, and he turned in the direction of their burrow."Come one everyone,"demanded Flower, and she pulled Zaphod back.Then they all went to find the pups.

Meanwhile Mitch was heading off to find the Whiskers.He tracked the Whisker's scent, and set of to find them."Yah think we'll see him again?Asked Sophie."I don't know, but I think so,"answered Jogu.But soon Mitch was lost.

"Oh now where am I?"Asked Mitch."Why you're right here bro,'said a voice."Mitch turned around to see a very familiar looking pregnant meerkat."Is that you Mozart?" Asked Mitch."Yah,'said Mozart.She told Mitch that she was dominant female of a new group called the Starskies, she was married to Carlos (who had a scar on his face from Hanibal), and her trouble with her half sister Kinkajo.But then some meerkats from Mozarts group who Mitch didn't know chased him off.Again Mitch was lost.

At the babysitting burrow Sophie, and the pups were under attack by the Zappa. Jogu had once again abbandoned his post to mate with Melonie (a evicted female from the Zappa).Just then the Whiskers showed up."Retreat!"Screamed Lola Zappa.And all of the Zappa ran away.Sophie, and the pups were safe.

"Let's make this are new home,"said Flower after she finsihed scent marking the pups.And they did.

That night Jogu, and Mitch came home.Both came home with great news.Jogu was now a adult because he had mated with Melonie, and Mitch had found Mozart.

That night there was a party.A really fun party.There was music (wich was partly Zaphod snorring),games, and food.

But the Zappa wern't happy.If they didn't do something soon they'd loose their territory.

"I'll get revenge on them because I am the mighty Frank Zappa,"said Frank Zappa.

Mozart also had problems.If she didn't keep a eye on Kinkajou, she could loose her position.

                          Chapter V

                      Revenge of the Zappa

At Mozart's new group the Starskies Mozart's tyrant half-sister Kinkajou was still as stubborn as ever.Carlos didn't care who was dominant female as long as he got to mate with someone instead of going back to roving so he left it to the two sisters to decide who got to lead the group(though he was hoped Mozart would win).

Meanwhile at the Whiskers Columbus, and Daisy were babysitting Izzy, Buster, and Sugs.But the pups got bored quick.They had no intention on going on another nature walk seeing how bad the first, and also the last one had turned out.So they decided to count the number of rocks around their burrow, but the highest they ever got to was six.So then they decided to bird watch (around the burrow of coarse).Izzy spied a sparrow, Sugs spied a hornbill, and Buster spied a bunc of tall, strange birds.

"Issy Sugs look!"Screamed Buster."Ah!"Yelled Sugs."What are thoose things?" Asked Izzy."Oh the're just ostriches guys,"answered Daisy."Well, I don't care what they are they look freaky,"said Izzy."Hey who you callin freaky yah rat,"said the Ostrich."Ahhhhhhh, how dare you say that to the future of the......"Um ah what she means is that your neck makes you look impressive Mr. Ostrich,"said Daisy covering Izzie's mouth."The names William, but whatever,"said the ostrich.Then he lead his flock away."Oh well nice talking to yah Will,"said Daisy.

Little did the babysitters know that the Zappa were surrounding them determined to get some of their land back.Not only had Flower taken their feeding ground, but their home to."Attaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!"Yelled Houdini.Then all the Zappa charged.The pups, and babysitters scampered into the burrow.Then the Zappa started to widen the burrow entrance trying to kill the pups.It looked hopeless. Then.........

"Aloha Lola Zappa who is also the wife of the number one arch-enemy of the Whiskers,"said a voice."What?"Asked Lola.She turned around to see Einstien, and behind him were the rest of the Whiskers."Retreat!"Yelled Lola.Then all the Zappa ran away.But were the Whiskers to late.Nope.Soon the pups, and babysitters emerged from the deepest part of the burrow.Frank Zappa's plans of getting revenge on the Whiskers had failed............

                            Again!

The Kalahari is full of rulers from the dark side.Mike the Lion, Scerca the hyena, and Frank Zappa. But this next chapter is about one of the worst ruler from the dark side.Read this chapter and find out who it is.

                     Chapter VI

                        Ruler from the Dark Side

Let's go back in time to the night when the Whiskers were reunited after the pups, and Sophie almost died from the Zappa attack.But if you go to the Starsky group you'll see a meerkat pacing outside the main burrow thinking very hard.It's Kinkajou.She was thinking of a way to become dominant female of the Starkies. Then at last she got a idea.When morning came, and the rest of the Zappa woke up. Then..........

"Hey everyone I found a tree with lot's of tasty catterpillars!"Yelled Kinkajou." Wow,"said a meerkat."Cool,"said another."Let's go there,"said another.So they all followed Kinkajou.They didn't even do their morning duties.All went except Mozart. Instead she stayed behind, and did all the morning duties.Little did the rest of the group know that Kinkajou was playing a trick on them.When Mozart was done the duties she went to see what the rest of the group was doing.When she found them Kinkajou was taking them in a far away direction.Mozart didn't know that Kinkajou told the group that she knew where a very fancy burrow was that they could spend the night in.The group was so full with caterpillars that they forgot to get Mozart, so they just followed Kinkajou.Mozart was suprised.She was due to give birth that night, and her group hadn't even helped her get to where Kinkajou was taking them. So she decided to just follow them.

At last she caught up with them.The group appologized greatly.All except Kinkajou. She had expected to loose Mozart.But she had another idea of how to become dominant female.

When the group finally reached the burrow they found out that Kinkajou had tricked them.They arrived at a burrow alright, but it was a old abandoned burrow that hadn't been used in a hundred years.

"Wait a go Stinkapou,"said the group to Kinkajou.None of them wanted to, but they had no choice, but to spend the night in that burrow.

The next day Kinkajou orderd the meerkats to get to work."How could we have been so foolish,"cried the meerkats.If you hadn't known meerkats lived in groups you would've thought that Kinkajou had made slaves out of them.Finally Mozart emerged from the burrow.She had a flat stomach.It was clear that she had given birth.But she had no milk to feed her pups.It was risky leaving the burrow, but she had to get milk for her pups.Everyone (except Kinkajou) gave Mozart as much food as possible.

When Mozart arrived back at the burrow she went undreground to nurse her pups. But she couldn't find them.When she went above ground at last she saw a little paw of a meerkat.It was clear that Kinkajou had eaten her pups.All of the group (except Kinkajou of coarse) spent three days mourning for the poor little things.

So Kinkajou got her wish as dominant female.To herself she was the greatest ruler ever, but to everyone else she was nothing but a friendless tyrant.

But would Mozart just give up.Nope!Not a option.Sometimes the biggest falls, can one day turn into one of the biggest victories.

This story isn't a chapter, but a behind the scenes sneek peek.Do you ever wonder what happend to Mitch after the members of Mozarts group chased him away well read this story, and find out.

Mitch sat down for awhile to have a drink, and rest.He was still exahausted after his encounter with the Starsky.Then he remembered he had a map, but right when he pulled it out a eagle came and stole it.Then he pulled out his compass, but because he held it up to the sun his tail caught on fire.Finally when the fire was out he realized that he dropped his compass on a rock, and it broke.

"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"He yelled."Wich way do I go?"He asked himself."Well at least there's shade here,"he said to himslef.But he soon realized that the shade was Mike that lions shadow.

"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!"He yelled, and he ran as fast as he could.But soon he felt like he could run any longer so he jumped on a sleeping gemsbok, woke it up, and rode it into the sunset using a puff adder as reins.

Then he fell of into a meerkat graveyard in the Waste Lands.He quickly ran away in fright.

Eventualy he reached his home, and celebrated with the rest of the Whisker's, and Quillcaloss Jones. So if you ever wanted to no what Mitch did during the time when he was lost.......

                             Now you know!

I was just calling her a ruler from the dark side for these reasons.

1: Mozart was the one who founded the group, and wasn't nice for Kinkajou to take it.

2: Kinkajou kills Mozart's poor little pups.I had a horrible night when I saw the little paw outside the burrow.

And Mozart is also more older and experienced then Kinkajou so she should be leader.

And before you say Kinkajou isn't mean wasn't she the one who lead the raiding party to kill little Mitch.But Shaksepeare stopped that dark side dweller.

                 Wait to go Shaksepeare!

But also goodbye to him.
