Is what your reffering to 'Survivor Man"?
If so, I hate that show

I used to watch it ocasionally, but, I kinda lost interest.

But, in fourth grade, the whole grade did something called Survivor.  Which is basically a Survivor for school.  There were academic, physical and just plain funny challenges.  People got "Kicked off the Island", got a peice of candy, and we had a ceremony (for everyone) with singing and dancing.  And when someone won a challenge, you got a whole pack of gum!  Even if you got kicked off, you still get to play, you just can't win the big prize of one of those jumbo bags of candy in the end.  And guess what?  I won!  I shared the candy at the end of the day on the lasy day of school when we watched a movie though, 'cuz  I'm nice!  ;-)  Anyway, it was a blast.  (I won almost every challenge.)

No, Survivor is a reality show where the people who come on the show are divided up into two tribes and have to live in some remote location like a tropical island in Micronesia, or Fiji, and take part in challenges. If you lose an immunity challenge you have to go to trible council and vote someone off your tribe. When there aren't many people left the two tribes merge and there are individual challenges. About that time the people who get voted out start becoming part of the jury. When it gets down to two or three people, the jury votes for a winner, who wins a million dollars.

My favorite idea for the show, was Suvivor: Africa. It was one of the best ones.

I didn't get to see Africa. I started watching at Survivor: Guatamala. My friend's dad knew one of the contestants. I liked Survivor: China a lot, I thought it was a really cool location.
