Could it not have died of natural causes? Even the rarest of animals have lifespans you know. But sometimes I just make a zoo on zoo tycoon where its a large map, tons of vegetation, and I put like 200 Javans in there, just to make me feel a little better.

I like to make my zoo's as realistic as possible, so I think that the animals lifespans and periods should be acurate to the game time. So if an animal has a lifespan of around 20 years, they should live for 20 Zoo Tycoon in-game years, give or take a few years of course.And if an Animal normally has a gestation period of 8 months, then the ...
